1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. allspice
1/4 tsp. cloves
1/2 c. melted butter
1 c. sugar
1 c. applesauce
1 c. raisins
1 lg. egg
Directions:
Directions:
Combine melted butter with sugar, egg, and applesauce. Beat together until mixed well. Sift together all dry ingredients and add this to the applesauce mixture. Combine the applesauce mixture and raisins together and place in a loaf pan. Bake at 350º for 1 hour.
Optional:
You may add black walnuts to mixture before baking for added variety.
