1 cup flour
1 tsp. pepper
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. savory
6 pieces of chicken



Sauce:

1 lb. mushrooms
1 chopped onion
1 tbsp. parsley
1 tsp. mace
1/8 tsp savory
1/2 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup sherry
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 cup orange juice

Directions:
Directions:
Combine flour, pepper, salt, and savory. Dredge chicken in mixture. Brown in 1/4 cup butter. Place in casserole dish. To make sauce, saute sliced mushrooms, onion, parsley, mace, and savory. Add chicken broth, sherry, brown sugar, and orange juice. Add more salt to taste. Cook for 10 minutes. Pour sauce over chicken. Cover and bake at 325º for 1 hour.
