1 lb. butter
4 c. flour
3/4 c. water



FILLING:

1 lb. almond paste
2 c. sugar
3 beaten eggs(save 1 white for top)
1 tsp. almond extract

Directions:
Directions:
Blend butter, flour and water as for pie crust, let stand overnight. Divide dough into 8 parts. Roll out each part to 13x3 inches. FILLING: Mix, almond paste, sugar, eggs and extract. Put filling down center of each crust, lap crust over, brush with egg white. Sprinkle with sugar, punch sm. hole every 2 inches along bar. Bake 40-50 minutes at 325º F.
