2/3 pound of tofu
1 large bell pepper
2 medium onions
2 Tablespoons cornstarch
5/8 cup of vegetable oil
2 Tablespoons of curry powder
1 2/3 cup coconut milk
2 Tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 3/4 once basil leaves (about a handful of fresh or a Tablespoon of dried)

Rinse tofu, drain, and cut into small squares. Cut bell pepper into wide strips. Cut onions into large pieces. In a small bowl, stir cornstarch with 2 Tablespoons water until smooth. Heat the oil in a pan. Add tofu and fry for 3 minutes. Add curry powder and fry briefly. Add coconut milk, sugar, salt, bell pepper, and onions. Simmer for 5 minutes. Stir in the cornstarch. Wash basil and stir into mixture.
