Jambalaya Bread Pudding Recipe

1 loaf French bread (1 1/2 foot.)
1 quart. milk
3 eggs, beaten
2 C sugar
2 T vanilla
1 t cinnamon
1 C raisins
3 T butter

Sauce:
1 stick butter
1 C. sugar
1 egg, beaten
1/4 C of bourbon

Directions:
Directions:
Break bread into bite - sized pieces in a large bowl. Cover with milk and soak for 1 hour. Mix well. Add eggs and sugar. Stir in vanilla, cinnamon, and raisins. Melt butter in 13 x 9 x 2 pan. Coat sides and pour in pudding. Bake for 1 hour on 375 degrees.

Sauce:
In saucepan, melt butter and sugar. Gradually whisk egg into pan. Cool slightly and add bourbon. Warm sauce and serve over pudding.
