1C Pearled Barley
4 onions diced
1.5lbs Round Steak cubed
6 Carrots diced
1 Rutabaga diced
1 lb Mushrooms sliced
8 C Water
4 tsp. Beef bouillon
Salt and Pepper

Directions:
Brown meat in 2qt pot. Brown onions. Add vegetables, water, bouillon. Bring to a boil. Add Barley then simmer for at least 1 hour with the lid on. More water may be added if soup gets too thick.
