3 LBS SWEET POTATOES
1/2 CUP DARK BROWN SUGAR
1/4 CUP DARK RUM
4 TABLESPOONS BUTTER
DASH OF SALT DASH OF CINNAMON

Directions:
Directions:
Scrub potatoes and drop in large pot of boiling salted water. Cook 35-45 minutes. Drain, cool and peel the potatoes. Slice the potatoes in 1/2 slices and arrange in glass baking pan.

Combine sugar, rum, butter, salt and cinnamon in small pan and simmer uncovered for 5 minutes. Pour over potatoes. Bake uncovered at 400º for 30 minutes basting often.
