1/1/2 C butter flavored shortening
3 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp almond flavoring
4 C flour
1/1/2 tsp baking soda
3 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs, flavorings. Add dry ingredients. Roll into balls, dip in sugar. Bake on parchment lined cookie sheets 325º approximately 10 minutes.
These are best if you take them out when they just start to turn golden and are undercooked. That will make them more chewy.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Ashlin rolls these in balls and freezes. Then when we want fresh hot cookies, she just takes a few out to bake. Defrost cookies before baking.
