Directions:
Combine yeast, 1/2 c. warm water and sugar in a 2 c. glass measuring cup. Allow to dissolve, In a large separate bowl with a lid, combine flour, powdered milk, potato flakes, and salt. Make a well in the center and pour in all the wet ingredients. I use the yeast measuring cup to measure the 1 3/4 c. of warm water in order to get the remaining sugar and yeast from the cup.Stir by hand with a wooden spoon until well mixed. Dough will be very soft. Put the lid on and allow to rise until double in size, aout 1 hour, in a warm place. Put a couple of T. of cooking oil on the counter top. Spread with your hand, then pull the dough out of the bowl with your oiled hand onto the oiled counter. Shape into balls. You may need to add a little flour to the balls to make them more workable.
Place on greased 12'by17' jelly roll pan, 5 across and 7 down. Cover with light weight kitchen towel, Let rise about 20 minutes. Remove towel.Bake at 375º until golden brown, about 20 minutes. Brush tops with melted butter.
