8 strips bacon, diced
2-4 # stew cubes, 1/2" cubes
1- 15 oz.. kidney beans, drained
2- 28 oz. stewed tomatoes
16 oz. tomato sauce
1 onion chopped
2 carrots, sliced
1/2 c. green pepper, chopped
1 c. celery, chopped
1/4 c. parsley
1 TB. chili powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cumin
1/4 tsp. pepper

Fry bacon til crisp and remove. Brown beef in drippings, 1/2 at a time. Put all ingredients in crock pot. Cook 10-12 hours or until beef is tender.
