Directions: |
Directions:Preheat oven to 200 degrees.
Liberally rub the dry pork rub / seasoning over the baby back ribs.
In bottom of roasting pan (preferably with rack in bottom), put 1/2 tsp. per rack of liquid smoke in bottom of pan. add water to ensure bottom of pan is covered by 1/2 - 1 inch.
Stack seasoned ribs criss-crossed. Cover pan tightly with foil or pan lid.
Roast ribs for 8 hours.
*** If grilling ribs on BBQ for later... then only roast for 6-7 hours. Cover with BBQ sauce (my fave is Sweet Baby Ray's) & grill until heated through & sticky!
*** If serving right away, take ribs out about 7.5 hours, then turn oven up to 325, cover with BBQ sauce & bake off till sauce is bubbly. |

Notes: I usually will put these ribs in the oven in the morning & leave. Ovens with timers work great for this.
