3T olive oil, 1/2 med onion sliced thin, 4 cloves garlic sliced thin, 1 large can tomatoes, 1/2 t salt, 1/2 t pepper, 1/2 t dried basil, 1/2 t dried oregano, 2 T chopped parsley.

Directions:
Place olive oil in saute pan, add sliced onions and garlic, cook till sightly browned.
Drain tomatoes, saving 1/4 c liquid. Puree tomatoes in blender with saved liquid 4 seconds only. Remove garlic from saute pan then add tomatoes and seasonings. Simmer 20 minutes.

To make spaghetti: Cook and drain noodles, return to pot, add 1/2 sauce and 1/2 stick butter. Mix well. Pour on heated platter. Cover with rest of sauce, sprinkle with 2 T chopped parsley and grated Parmesan cheese.
