1 # meatballs
1/2 c. water
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. vinegar
1 - 20 oz. can pineapple, save juice
2 TB soy sauce
2 TB cornstarch
salt and pepper to taste
1 onion, sliced
1 green pepper, diced

Directions:
Directions:
If you make homemade meatballs, you might want to brown them first so they will hold together in the sauce.

Heat water, brown sugar, vinegar, pineapple juice, soy sauce and cornstarch until sugar is dissolved and liquid is starting to darken. Pour over meatballs either in a pot on the stove or a baking dish in the oven. Heat for about 25 minutes and then add the pineapple, onion and green pepper and continue heating for about 15 -25 minutes more. Serve over rice.
