Ingredients:
Ingredients:
Meatballs: 2 lbs lean beef (for flavour you can use 2 parts ground beef to 1 part ground pork)
2-3 tbsp brown sugar
2-3 tbsp soy sauce
minced onion flakes
1 can of water chestnuts, chopped fine
minced garlic (as per individual taste)
breadcrumbs
Sweet & Sour Sauce:
2 cups packed brown sugar
2 tbsp flour
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup vinegar
2 tbsp soy sauce
good squirt of ketchup

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Mix all ingredients together for meatballs. The addition of more breadcrumbs may be necessary depending on the wetness of the meat. The meat should be just wet enough to roll in the palm of your hand without breaking apart.

Roll meat into little balls using a melon baller for size.

Put the meatballs into a large enough baking dish to be able to stir without spilling. Bake uncovered for 45 minutes. Turn the meatballs over and put the meatballs back into the oven and bake for another 15 minutes. Test the meatballs for doneness. Once the meatballs are cooked, pull them out of the oven and set aside.

Mix all the ingredients for the sauce in a large saucepan on the stove. Stir constantly with a whisk, bringing to a boil. Sauce will change to a dark brown color. Keep stirring. Simmer sauce until it has thickened. Add to the meatballs and serve.
