1/2 box of Penne Pasta (We use Catelli Smart Pasta)
3 Tbsp olive Oil
2 cloves of pressed garlic
1 can of diced or crushed tomatoes
1/2 tsp. Oregano
1/2 tsp of basil
2-3 Bay Leaves
½ tsp Thyme
1 tsp onion powder or desired amount of chopped onion
4 Tbsp brown sugar (or to taste)
3 to 5 Italian sausages (Noah likes the mild ones)

Directions:
Cut sausages into bite size pieces and brown in pan. Mix sauce ingredients into a medium saucepan and heat. Add sausages to sauce.

Add pasta to boiling water and cook as per package direction. Drain and add to sauce. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and serve with cut up veggies on the side.
