1 c. coarsely crushed pretzels
1/2 c. butter, melted
1 c. sugar, divided
1 (8 oz.) pkg. of cream cheese, softened
2 c. fresh strawberries, sliced
1 (12 oz.) Cool Whip

Directions:
Directions:
In a bowl, combine pretzels, butter and 1/2 cup sugar. Press into 9x13 pan and bake for 7 minutes at 400º. Cool.
In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and remaining sugar until creamy. Fold in strawberries and Cool Whip. Break pretzel mixture into bite sized pieces. Stir pretzels in right before serving to keep them crunchy.

Variation- Can also be made with crushed pineapple.
