Basic pastry pie shell
10 slices of bacon, fried, crispy and crumbled
4 eggs
500 ml light cream
15 ml minced onion
2 ml salt
1/2 ml nutmeg
Pinch of Cayenne Pepper
300 ml grated swiss cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Line pie plate with pastry and sprinkle the crumbled bacon over the bottom of the pastry shell. Combine eggs, cream, salt, nutmeg, cayenne pepper and minced onions in a bowl and mix well. Sprinkle cheese over the bacon and ladle the custard over all. Bake 15 minutes at 425, then lower heat to 300 and bake for 30 min or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Serve in wedges.
