Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 28 oz can whole tomatoes - drained and reserve
4 fresh jalapenos, chopped
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
1/4 large onion or 1/2 small, chopped
2 Tspn vinegar
juice of 1/2 lime

Directions:
Directions:
Place all ingredients in a food processor and pulse until you get the texture you want.

Use reserve juice to adjust thickness.

Pour into jars and refrigerate. Keeps for several weeks.

You can deseed the jalapenos for a milder sauce. I would recommend starting with 3 jalapenos and adding to get the desired heat leve.

You can tinker with this recipe to make it milder or hotter. You can substitute the fresh jalapenos with chipotle peppers to change the flavor. If not hot enough add habaneros!
