3 lbs. raw shrimp, with shells on (pink shrimp is best; size 16 to 20 per pound)
1 stick butter
1 stick margarine
3 lemons
1 T. dried rosemary
1 t. sea salt
1 t. fresh ground pepper
dash of hot sauce (tobasco) or cayenne pepper
dash of Worcestershire sauce

Wash shrimp and place half of them in a shallow baking dish. Peel whole lemons, then slice them into 1/4" slices. Set aside.
Melt butter & margarine in saucepan (don't burn).
Add remaining ingredients and stir until all ingredients are blended. Place 1/2 of the lemon slices on the shrimp and mix them in with the shrimp.. Add remaining layer of shrimp and lemon slices and stir to mix them. Pour sauce over the shrimp and bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes, stirring a couple of times. Serve with French bread and cocktail sauce if preferred. The butter sauce is awesome by itself. Don't forget to dip the bread in the sauce, and accompany with absorbent napkins of towels! This is big in Louisiana.
