Fresh round steak pieces
3 stalks celery
1 can bean sprouts
1 onion
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 small can sliced mushrooms
1 small can sliced water chestnuts
2 tsp molasses
1 tsp. kitchen bouquet ( if you can find it, or otherwise just forget it.
2 large serving spoons soy sauce
2 tbs cornstarch
1/2 glass water
White or brown rice
Chinese hard noodles
Soft rolls from Orland Park Bakery

Directions:
Directions:
1. Brown fresh round steak pieces first, then cut in small pieces. Put meat in water to cover and cook about 1/2 hour or until tender.

2. Add 3 stalks celery cut up.

3. Add 1 can bean sprouts.

4. Add 1 cut up onion

5. Add 1 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp pepper. Cook 1/2 hour.

6. Add one small can sliced mushrooms and small can sliced water chestnuts.

7. Add 2 tsp molasses, 1 tsp. kitchen bouquet

8. Add 2 large serving spoons soy sauce.

9. Mix 2 tbs cornstarch in 1/2 glass water--thicken until the consistency desired.

10. Serve over white or brown rice.

Serve with Chinese hard noodles and soft rolls from Orland Park Bakery.
