9-INCH FLAKY PIE CRUST
3/4 CUP SUGAR
2 TBSP. FLOUR
1 CUP SOUR CREAM
1 EGG, BEATEN
1/2 TSP. VANILLA
1/4 TSP. SALT
2 CUPS FINELY CHOPPED APPLES

TOPPING;

1/2 CUP SUGAR
6 TBSP. FLOUR
1 TSP. CINNAMON
1/4 CUP BUTTER

MAKE A 9-INCH PIE CRUST. BAKE 7 MINUTES AND LET COOL. COMBINE THE SUGAR, FLOUR, SOUR CREAM, EGG, VANILLA, SALT AND BEAT WELL UNTIL SMOOTH. STIR IN APPLES AND POUR MIXTURE IN PIE CRUST. BAKE AT 450 OVEN FOR ABOUT 30 MINUTES OR UNTIL ALMOST SET.

TOPPING:

MIX SUGAR, FLOUR, CINNAMON AND BUTTER UNTIL CRUMBLY. SPRINKLE ON TOP AND BAKE 10 MINUTES LONGER.
