1 (1 lb.) loaf French bread, cubed
8 eggs
2 1/2 c. milk, cream, or half and half
6 tbs. butter or margarine, melted
1/4 c. warm maple syrup

Directions:
Directions:
Cube french bread. Grease a 9x13 pan. Place bread into pan. In a mixing bowl, beat eggs, milk melted butter and maple syrup until well combined. Pour egg mixture evenly over bread. Using a rubber spatula, gently press down mixture to moisten all the bread. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate 2 to 24 hours. Remove plastic and bake @ 325º for 35-40 minutes or until center is set and edges are lightly golden. Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
