3/4 to 1 cup sugar
4 tbsp flour
21/2 cups cherries and juice
1/12 tbsp butter
1/4 tsp almond extract

Directions:
Directions:
Cook over moderate heat stirring constantly until mixture thickens. Add almond flavoring and butter.
Chill slightly. Pour into pie dough lined pie pan. Roll dough for top, make slits and put over cherries. Brush top dough with milk and bake at
424º for 30 to 40 minutes.
