2/3 cup sugar
1/2 tsp salt
21/2 tbsp cornstarch
1 tbsp flour

3 cups milk
1 tbsp butter
11/2 tsp vanilla
2-3 ripe bananas

Directions:
Directions:
Mix in a heavy saucepan the dry ingredient's.
Add the milk and mix well.
Cook over moderate heat stirring constantly until mixture thickens and boils. Boil 1 minute. Remove from heat and stir half of the mixture into
3 egg yolks that have been slightly beaten. Then add egg mixture to hot mixture. Boil 1 minute more, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and blend in butter and vanilla. Cool. Slice bananas
into a baked pie shell. Then pour cooled filling over the bananas. Chill in refrigerator at least 2 hours. Top with whipped cream.
