1/4 cup Butter (softened)
2 Eggs
1/2 cup Sugar
1/2 cup Brown sugar
1 cup Milk
2 cups self-rise Flour
1/2 tsp Vanilla extract
1/8 tsp nutmeg
1/8 tsp Ginger
1/8 tsp All spice
1/2 tsp Cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
In a large mixing bowl cream together sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and butter. In a separate bowl mix flour and dry spices. stir milk and vanilla into the wet mixture, then add the dry ingredients (flour and spices) mix till batter is smooth (no lumps). Pour into 9X13" greased cake pan. Bake on a preheated 350ºF oven for 20-30 minutes. (or till a toothpick inserted in center of cake comes out clean)

I like to frost the cake with a pecan cream cheese frosting. Frosting:
1 pkg cream cheese softened, add 1/2 cup pecans chopped fine,mix on high for about 1-2 minutes (melt 3 tbsp butter and 1/2 cup brown sugar together) and add to the cream cheese. mix an additional 2 minutes. Spoon on cake while still warm.
