Directions:
Beat together eggs, sugar, and vanilla. Stir in flour, baking powder, and salt. Add hot milk and butter. Pour into greased 10" square pan. Bake @ 350º 25 minutes. Make topping of: 1/4 C butter 2 T cream, 2/3 C brown sugar, 1 C chopped nuts and 1/2 tsp salt. Mix together, spread on cake while still hot. May brown under broiler. At camp, I don't broil it because I don't have a broiler, but the topping soaks into the cake and is still very good.

Personal Notes:
This yummy breakfast cake is from Gordon Gibbs, one of our long time guides. He and his wife, Karlyn have been our good friends for many years and we always enjoy having them come into Salmon Forks camp.
