1 c unseasoned bread crumbs
3/4 c Romano or Parmesan cheese, finely grated
1/2 c milk
1/2 c beef broth1/2 c chopped fresh parsley
3 eggs, beaten
2 T. dried oregano
1 T. garlic, minced
2 tsp kosher salt
1 T. ground black pepper
2 tsp dried basil
1/2 t. crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
2 lbs ground chuck
additional 1 cup beef broth

Preheat oven to 450º
Stir together all ingredients except ground meat. Add meat and mix together thoroughly. Using a small scoop or two spoons shape meat mixture into balls. Coat a baking sheet or shallow pan with spray. Space the meatballs so they are not touching. Cover bottom of pan with beef broth. Bake for 25 minutes or until just cooked through. Reserve pan juices for sauce.
