6 hard-boiled eggs, peeled, cut in half, and yolks mashed in a bowl
2 T plus 2 tsp mayo
1 tsp Dijon mustard
2 T crumbled blue cheese
salt and pepper to taste
About 3 T real bacon bits

Directions:
Directions:
1. Combine the thoroughly mashed yolks with the mayo and mustard. Add the blue cheese and mask well into the mixture with a spoon. Taste, then season with salt and pepper.
2. Fill the whites evenly with the mixture and garnish each egg half with bacon bits. Makes 12

These are a tasty alternative to traditional deviled eggs! You can fry up bacon, use the kind pre-cooked in a box, or use the real bits in a jar.
