6 egg whites
3/4 tsp cream of tartar
2 tsps vanilla extract
2 cps granulated sugar
2 cps crushed saltines, (about 60 crackers)
1/2 cp chopped pecans
1 carton (8 oz) frozen whipped topping, thawed
1 can (20 oz) cherry pie filling

Directions:
Directions:
1) In large bowl, beat egg whites, til foamy.
2) Add cream of tartar and vanilla; beat until soft peaks form.
3) Gradually beat in sugar, one tbsp at a time, until stiff glossy peaks form.
4) Fold in saltines and pecans.
5) Transfer to a 13 x 9 inch baking dish coated with cooking spray.
6) Bake at 350f for 20 to 25 mins or until lightly browned and edges begin to crack.
7) Cool on wire rack.
8) Spread whipped topping on top.
9) Carefully spoon pie filling over top. (leave edges of crust to look pretty)
