2 cups flour
2T. sugar
1T. (yes, 3 tsp) baking powder
1 tsp. Salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 cup butter, cold
1 cup cold buttermilk

Directions:
Directions:
Mix dry ingredients. Cut butter in with 2 knives, or pastry blender (or pulse in your Cuisinart) til course crumbs. Stir in buttermilk. Turn onto a floured board and knead 3 0r 4 turns. roll 1/2 to 3/4 inches thick. Cut. (use the top of a drinking glass dipped in flour for a great size). Bake on ungreased sheet 12-15 minutes. 425º
