pastry for double crust pie
6 small tart apples, peeled and cored
1/3 cp granulated sugar
2 tbsps half and half cream
3/4 cp maple or maple flavored syrup, warmed

Directions:
Directions:
1) On a floured surface, roll our pastry to 18 inch to 12 inch rectangle.
2) Cut into 6 6-inch squares.
3) Place an apple on each square.
4) Combine sugar and cream and spoon into center of apple center.
5) Moisten edges of pastry; fold up the corners to center and pinch to seal.
6) Place on ungreased 13 x 9 inch baking pan.
7) Bake at 450f for 15 mins.
8) Reduce heat to 350f bake 30 mins longer or until golden brown, basting twice with syrup.
9) Serve warm.
