1 pkg (10 oz) frozen puff pastry shells
2 pkgs (3 oz each) cream cheese, softened
1/4 cp confectioners sugar
1/2 tsp almond extract
1 can(21 oz) cherry pie filling
additional confectioners sugar

Directions:
Directions:
1) Bake pastry shells according to pkg.
2) In a small bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar and extract.
3) With a fork, Carefully remove the circular top of each shell; set aside.
4) Spoon the cream cheese filling into shells; place on baking sheet.
5) Bake 400f for 5 mins.
6) Cool for 1 hr.
7) Refrigerate until serving.
8) Just before serving, spoon pie filling into shells.
9) Top with reserved pastry circles.
10) Dust with confectioners sugar.
11) Refrigerate leftovers.
