1/2 cps potatoes, peeled and cubed
3 garlic cloves, minced
1/4 cp milk
1 tbsp butter
1/4 tsp dried rosemary, crushed
1/2 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper

Filling:
1 cp sliced fresh mushrooms
1 cp sliced carrots
1/2 cp chopped onions
1/4 cp chopped green pepper
1 tbsp butter
2 cps cubed cooked venison
1 1/2 cps beef broth
1/4 tsp dried thyme
1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
3 tbsps flour
3 tbsps cold water
1/3 cp shredded cheddar cheese
2 tbsps minced parsley

Directions:
Directions:
1) Cook potatoes in boiling water until tender; drain and mash.
2) Add the garlic, milk, butter, rosemary, salt and pepper; set aside.
3) In a large skillet; saute mushrooms, carrots, onion and green pepper in butter until tender.
4) Add venison, broth, thyme and nutmeg.
5) Bring to a boil.
6) Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 25 to 30 mins or until meat and veggies are tender.
7) Combine the flour and water until smooth; stir into skillet.
8) Bring to a boil; cook and stir 2 mins or until thickened.
9) Transfer to a greased 2 qrt baking dish.
10) Spread mashed potatoes over the top.
11) Bake, uncovered, 350f for 30- 40 mins or until bubbly.
12) Sprinkle with cheese.
13) Bake 5 mins longer or until cheese is melted.
14) Sprinkle with parsley.
