6 cooking apples
3/4 c sugar
1 T flour
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
Topping: 1 c flour
1/2 c brown sugar
1/2 c butter, soft
1 unbaked pie crust 9"

Directions:
Directions:
Pare, core and slice apples, mix with sugar, flour, salt and cinnamon. Turn into pastry lined pie pan, blend topping and crumble on top.
bake 450º 15 minutes
then 350º 45 min longer or until apples pierce easily with fork. (I cover the edges with tinfoil for the first half of baking time so that the edges don't get too brown)
