3/4 cp granulated sugar
1/3 cp baking cocoa
2 tbsps flour
1/3 cp milk
1/4 cp butter, cubed
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling, divided
1 unbaked pastry shell, 9 inches
whipped topping

Directions:
Directions:
1) In a small saucepan, combine the sugar, cocoa and flour.
2) Stir in milk until smooth.
3) Add butter.
4) Cook and stir over med high heat until thickened and bubbly.
5) Reduce heat; cook and stir 2 mins longer.
6) Remove from heat.
7) Stir a small amount of hot filling into eggs; return all to pan, stirring constantly.
8) Fold in half of pie filling.
9) Pour into pastry shell.
10) Bake at 350f for 35 to 40 mins or until filling is almost set.
11) Cool completely on wire rack.
12) Just before serving top with remaining pie filling, leaving space at crust to see chocolate.
12) Dollop each serving on a saucer with whipped topping.
