14 large cucumbers
10 medium onions


Sauce:
2 cups vinegar
1 cup water
1/2 cup flour
3 cups sugar
3/4 T. tumeric
3/4 T. ginger
1/4 tsp. paprika

Directions:
Directions:
Peel and slice cucs and onions. Cover with 1/2 cup pickling salt and let stand over night. In the morning, drain and rinse well.

Combine sauce ingredients in a large, heavy pot. Add rinsed cucs and onions. Bring to a boil over medium high heat. Be sure to stir frequently as it tends to stick to the bottom of the pot. Simmer for 10 minutes and pour into hot sterilized jars. Seal.
