4 c. sugar
1 tall can evaporated milk
1/2 c. butter
3 sm. pkg. chocolate chips
1 pint jar marshmallow cream
1 T. vanilla
1 1/2 cups chopped pecans or walnuts
Directions:
Directions:
Combine sugar, evaporated milk, and butter and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until soft ball forms when tested in water. Remove from heat and stir in: chocolate chips, marshmallow cream, and vanilla. Do not beat, but mix thoroughly. Add nuts and stir. Spread in lightly buttered pan, cool, and cut in squares. It makes 4 pounds and keeps well.

This photo was taken on the very special occasion of my 30th anniversary celebration with El Paso Natural Gas Corporation. June and I have used this recipe for over 40 years, especially at Christmas. June makes it and I eat it!
