Directions:1 Heat oven 350 F. grease 13x9-inch pan with shortening. In smallbowl, mix 11/2 cups flour, the cocoa,baking powder and 1/2 teaspoon salt; set aside, 2 In large bowl, beat 2 cups granulated sugar and 1 cup butter with electic mixer on medium speed, scraping bowl occasionally until light and fluffy. Add 4 eggs one at a time beating well after each addition. Beat in 2 teaspoons vanilla. On low speed, gradually beat in flour mixture until well blended. Stir in peanut butter chips. 3 In small bowl, beat peanut butter and 1/3 cup butter on medium speed until smooth. Beat in 1/3 cup granulated sugar and 2 tablespoons flour. Beat in 3/4 teaspoon vanilla and 2 eggs until well blended. Spread half of chocolate mixture in pan. Spread peanut butter mixture evenly over chocolate mixture. Speed remaining chocolate mixture evenly over peanut butter mixture. To marble pull knife through layers in wide curves. 4 Bake 40 to 50 minutes or until top springs back when touched lightly in center and brownies begin to pull away from side of pan cool completely, about 1 hour 5 In 2 quart saucepan, melt chocolate and 3 tablespoons butter over low heat, stirring constantly, until smooth. remove from heat. Stir in powdered sugar 1/4 teaspoon salt 3/4 teaspoon vanilla and enough walter for desired spreding consistency. Frost brownies. For brownies, cut into 6 rows by 6 rows |
