1/2 cup margarine.
1 cup sugar.
3/4 cup flour.
2 tsp. baking powder.
1/4 tsp. salt.
3/4 cup milk.
1 can cherry pie filling.

Directions:
Directions:
Set oven to 350 degrees. Melt margarine in baking pan. Place fruit in baking pan after margarine has been melted. In a bowl combine dry ingredients and add milk. Stir, pour batter over fruit. Bake 1 hour. Can substitute canned peaches for cherry pie filling; use peach juice also. Sprinkle a little cinnamon on the peaches.
