2 cups sugar.
1 cup shortening.
4 whole eggs.
1/4 tsp. salt.
1 1/2 cups of flour.
1/3 cup cocoa.
3 tsp. vanilla.
1/2 pkg. miniature marshmallows.

Icing:

2 sticks oleo
1 box powder sugar
1/2 cup cocoa
1/2 cup canned milk
1 tsp.vanilla
1 cup of nuts (if desired)

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and shortening; add eggs, beating by hand. Sift cocoa, flour and salt then add vanilla and nuts (if desired). Bake for 35 minutes at 300 degrees. Add marshmallows and bake 10 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool completely then ice.

You can add 1 cup of nuts to the cake mix.
