6 pounds moose meat
flour
salt and pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Trim and cut moose meat into bite size pieces.
Roll in flour and salt and pepper, brown in hot oil or shortening, turning to brown all sides. Pack mat into sterilized jars tightly. Place lids on jars, then put jars into a canner or roaster. Fill canner or roaster with water up to 3/4 of the side of the jar. Boil in canner for 4 hours on medium heat. You can also do this in a pan of water in an oven for the same amount of time.

You can do as many jars as you like. You can also can in pint size jars as well. Gramma and Grampa Morgan did their meat in the oven of a woodburning stove.
