5-6 potatoes, finely diced
5-6 eggs, hard boiled and finely diced
3 stalks celery, finely cut
1 c. miracle whip
1/4 c. yellow mustard
1/2 c. sugar
salt and pepper to taste
paprika, if desired

Directions:
Directions:
Boil potatoes with skin, and cool. Finely dice cooled potatoes, eggs and celery and add salt and pepper. Mix miracle whip, mustard and sugar and add to potato mixture. Refrigerate at least 4 hours prior to serving. Sprinkle with paprika.

Every time we have this we think of our Dad, Neal Michaelsen, because he loved Mom's potato salad! I'm sure this is just another recipe perfected by "one of the Alke girls" but we kids lovingly refer to it as “Mom's Potato Salad!”
