3 cups vinegar
3 cups water
1//2 cup salt
1/4 onion (egg size)
1 T. dill seed per quart or a sprig of fresh dill with bloom and about 2 inches of stem.

Directions:
Stuff medium size cucumbers in jar. Bring solution of vinegar, salt and water to boil. Pour over cucumbers and seal. Put jars in dark place for 21 days; ready to eat.
