Ingredients: 1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese, softened
2/3 cup sugar
1/2 cup sour cream
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 eggs, unbeaten
fresh strawberries
cake batter:
1 cup flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup butter
2/3 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tbsp milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
topping:
1 cup sour cream
2 tbsp sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract

Directions: |
Directions:Preheat oven to 325º. Cream the cream cheese with sugar until light. Beat in sour cream and vanilla. Blend in eggs, one at a time; set aside. Prepare cake batter by sifting together flour, baking powder and salt. Cream butter with sugar until light. Beat in eggs one at time. Stir in milk and vanilla. Spread the prepared cake batter on the bottom of a greased and floured 10-inch springform pan (at least 2 inches deep), spreading thinner on sides. Spoon cheese mixture over batter. Bake 45 to 50 minutes or until done. Stir together topping and spread topping while hot and garnish with strawberries, if desired. Makes 8 to 10 servings. |
