1 stick butter
2 c. brown sugar
2 Tbs. corn syrup
1/2 to 3/4 c. pecans
Loaf of French Bread, cut in 1" slices
2 c. milk
5 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
Cinnamon and granulated sugar to taste

Directions:
In 13x8x2 baking dish, melt butter. Add brown sugar and corn syrup to melted butter and mix well in baking dish. Sprinkle pecans on sugar/butter mixture. Spread each slice of French Bread heavily with cream cheese and place with cream cheese side down, on sugar/butter/pecans mixture in baking dish. Mix together milk, eggs, and vanilla. Pour over the bread in the dish. Sprinkle cinnamon and granulated sugar to taste on top. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Next morning, bake 375 for about 45-60 min until puffed and lightly browned. Remove from oven and cool slightly before serving. Dust lightly with confectioner's sugar and serve.
