8 slices bread or rolls or any bread you have around.
1/3 c raisins if desired
4 eggs beaten
1/2 c sugar
1/8 tsp salt
2 cup evaporated milk
2 cup water
2 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp cinnamon
8 tbsp sugar

Directions:

Break bread apart
Sprinkle raisins over toast. combine eggs 1/4 cup sugar, salt, milk, water and vanilla. Pour over toast. Let stand for 10 minutes. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar. Bake 350 for 30-60 minutes or until knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
