1 3/4 cups prepared fruit (about 1 qt. ripe strawberries)
4 cups sugar
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 bottle Certo Fruit Pectin or 1 pkg. Sure Jell

Directions:
Directions:
First prepare fruit. Crush completely, one layer at a time, about 1 quart fully ripe strawberries. Measure 1 3/4 cups into a large bowl or pan. To measured juice or fruit in bowl or pan, add measured sugar; mix well. Mix lemon juice and Certo well in a small bowl; stir into fruit. Continue stirring 3 MINUTES. (A few sugar crystals will remain.) Pour quickly into jars. Cover at once with tight lids. Allow to set at room temperature (takes up to 24 hours). Then store in freezer.

For use within 3 weeks, may be stored in refrigerator.
