3 lb. small red potatoes, well scrubbed & quartered
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup sour ream
2 tbsp. buttermilk
2 tbsp. Dijon mustard
2 tsp. spicy dill pickle juice (from jar pickles)
1 tsp. minced garlic
1 tsp. chopped fresh dill
1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
A pinch of cayenne pepper
1/2 cup dill pickles, diced
1/2 cup chopped red onion

Directions:
Directions:
In a large pot, combine the potatoes and 1 tsp. salt with enough water to cover by 1". Bring to a boil, lower heat and simmer until the potatoes are fork tender, 10-12 minutes. Drain and let cool slightly.

In a bowl, whisk together the mayo, sour cream, buttermilk, mustard and pickle juice. Add the garlic, dill, remaining 1/2 tsp. of salt, pepper, and cayenne and whisk to combine. Place the potatoes in a large bowl and add the dressing, tossing to coat evenly. Adjust seasonings to taste.

Chill until cool, 2-3 hours before serving.
