2 1/3 cups flour
2/3 cup packed brown sugar
3/4 cup butter or margarine
1 egg slightly beaten
2 cups (12 0z. pkg.) chocolate semi-sweet chips
1 cup coarsely chopped nuts
1 can (14 oz.) sweetened condensed milk
1 8 oz. pkg. Heath English Toffee Bits

Directions:

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 13x9x2 pan. In a large bowl stir together flour and brown sugar.
Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add egg and mix well. Stir in the nuts and 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips. Reserve 1 1/2 cups of this mixture. Press remaining crumb mixture onto the bottom of prepared pan. Bake for 10 minutes. Remove from oven and pour the can of sweetened condensed milk evenly over hot crust. Top with the toffee bits. Sprinkle reserved crumb mixture and remaining 1/2 cup of chocolate chips over the top. Bake 25 - 30 minutes or until golden brown. Cool completely in pan on a wire rack. Cut into bars.
