Ingredients:
Round steak (tenderized)
Worchestershire sauce
Onion (one medium -- about 3" in diameter)
Salt / pepper
Flour

Directions:
Directions:
Cut steak in serving size pieces. Salt and pepper both sides and dip in bowl with flour in it. Be sure both sides of steak are completely covered with flour. Brown in skillet -- do not completely cook. Meat should be pink inside -- not bloody -- but still pink. After browning, place steak in pyrex pan. Slice onion in 1/4 - 3/8 " slices and place on top of meat. Glub on Worcestershire sauce -- about 4-5 glubs. If you've got a little flour left in bowl, sprinkle over meat. Add water slowly until meat is covered by about 1/2" of water. Cover with foil or glass lid if available. Bake at 350º during Sunday School and Church. If the preacher talks a long time, you migth want to turn it down to 325º!

Note: This recipe also works well with venison.

Personal Notes:
In memory of my Mom, Sue Stephens. Mom went to be with Jesus on July 21, 2007. We had smothered steak for many a Sunday lunch!
